EZ-Access® is a tool that can be installed on any website: wether it's a new or existing one. It has the ability, among other things, to allow anyone with a little MS-Word experience to edit the content of their website without having to contact a programmer or designer all the time. Yes. EZ-Access® is made with a framework that allows custom development and module/feature creation. Cost will be directly relevant to man/hours required to create the module or feature.

Keep in mind that if the customization you require can be made available to the public because it is popular, it will be coded at a discount rate. You are then considered as a contributor to the project. See further down for contributors information.

To run EZ-Access®, you need Apache, PHP and MySQL. All of which are Free Software, Open Source and supported by all major and grand public web hosting services. Just about any recent version of these will do.

EZ-Access® can be installed with a starting price of 200$ CAD. At that price, EZ-Access® is installed and working, but your website is not linked to it just yet. An additionnal cost will be added to this. This additionnal cost will greatly vary depending if your website is a new one, an old one with few or extensive content, if we need to carry over your content from your actual website to EZ-Access® or if you do it yourself. Contact your vendor for more information regarding this specific issue.

Modules prices will vary anywhere from 50$ up to 400$, depending on their importance, size, complexity and functionalities.

EZ-Access® is built with CodeIgniter which originally is Open Source and delivered under the GPL license. While CodeIgniter is Open Source and has been used as an engine to EZ-Access®, EZ-Access® can't be redistributed without permission as it is under certain Canadian intellectual properties laws.
